You may or not know that I’m quite the Tina Turner fan, one of my favorite tracks is What’s Love Go To Do With It, and when I saw that Zimmer had got his hands on it and given the classic a rework, I knew I was in for a treat!

It’s flashback time! This is a great performance by two rock legends, MICK JAGGER and TINA TURNER at Live Aid in 1985. The duo performed STATE OF SHOCK and IT’S ONLY ROCK AND ROLL. Just look at the chemistry between them, I wonder if that little ‘surprise’ at the end was planned, judging by the look on her face it wasn’t!
The legendary Tina Turner turns 69 today! She’s celebrating with a show in Newark, New Jersey, it will be an amazing show I’m sure. I’m grateful I got the chance to see her live this year, it was of the best concerts I’ve ever been too. Well its time for my Halloween treat! In celebration of the fact I’m seeing Tina Turner in concert on Sunday I’d like to share the fantastic track ‘Acid Queen’ and the video from the rock musical movie ‘Tommy, based on the Who’s album of the same name. This is the scene in which Tina, the Acid Queen tries to cure Tommy with drugs! Scary stuff indeed!
