The Knocks throw down one of catchiest feel-good pop tunes we’ve heard in awhile – Brightside. I can just hear Billy Ocean or Rick Astley recording this one back in the day. Oh, and there’s a delicious take you there diva vocal via Meah Pace.
The single is out on October 18th via A&M/Octone Records with remixes from Fred Falke and Lenno.

One of my favorite upcoming New York based bands are The Knocks, whom you may have enjoyed Dancing With The DJ from late last year.
They’ve been working with Detroit born newcomer Alex Winston on her debut album expected in August 2011. The Sister Wife mini-album was released in February to hold us all over!
