We’ve already shared quite a few mixes of Sky Ferreira‘s ‘Everything Is Embarrassing,‘ but MK has just delivered a new one that’s well worth a mention. He’s chopped up the vocals quite a bit and I’m loving the throwback feel.
Sky Ferreira has teamed up with 2Cellos to bring us this hauntingly beautiful cover of the Cher classic ’Bang Bang,‘ found on their latest album ‘In2ition‘ which was released this week. It’s a totally stripped back version and Sky’s vocals are a real treat.
It’s been a long time coming but Sky Ferreira finally gave her debut TV performance last night! Appearing on Jimmy Fallon she gave a flawless performance of her latest single ‘Everything Is Embarrassing’ with a little help from The Roots.
I really hope that she is finally able to break through, her latest EP Ghost is excellent stuff!

A few months back we got our first listen to Sky Ferreira‘s Red Lips, and today the super hot Terry Richardson directed video has just premiered! The track was produced by Greg Kurstin and co-written by Sky and Shirley Manson which comes as no surprise as it sounds like a classic Garbage song
Could this be the track that finally gets Sky the recognition she deserves? How do you feel about her going in this musical direction? I think the sound really works for her!
