We’ve been supporters of Santigold since the first album and she always impresses us with her unique music and awesome live shows. In celebration of Santi, we’ve been given some swag to giveaway by our friends at Downtown Records.

We know some of you still love getting physical CDs, so five winners will get a copy of both Santogold and Master Of My Make Believe on CD and some surprise extra goodies thrown in.

We’re absolutely in love with The Knocks remix of Santigold’s The Keepers, which they are offering up as a free download.  They’ve infused it with some hard-hitting electro beats and seductive synths which totally hits the spot. Pretty much everything these guys touch turns to gold, so do yourself and favor and grab this.

Santigold: Disparate Youth

With an intro inspired by Glass Candy‘s Warm In The Winter, Santigold unveils the first official single from Master Of My Make Believe - Disparate Youth. What we found lacking in buzz track Big Mouth was an infectious chorus in Santi’s signature sway from side to side form, much like the material on her self-titled debut. Santi is back! Watch the official animated video below.

Disparate Youth is on iTunes now, grab it here. The full single drops April 8th with remixes via Switch, the 2 Bears and Amateur Best.

Santigold: Big Mouth (Video Premiere)

We’re loving this new Santigold track Big Mouth taken from the eagerly anticipated sophomore album Master of My Make Believe, which is due for release this spring!

The track and video are giving  me a slight M.I.A vibe, and if you watch the video and listen closely it seems like she’s having a dig at Lady Gaga, love it!

The timing of the release of this track couldn’t be more perfect as Jay from NuWavePony and I had the pleasure of seeing her live at Music Hall Of Williamsburg last night. She blew us away with her performance, and we left dying to hear the studio versions of the five incredible new tracks she sang, and here we have one of them!
