Yesterday, Jessie Ware stopped by the BBC Radio One Live Lounge and performed this stunning cover of Rihanna‘s ‘Diamonds.‘ It’s a beautiful totally stripped back version that adds a new tenderness to the massive hit. Another win for Jessie!

The official video for Rihanna’s ‘Stay‘ premiered this morning, just two days after she delivered an emotional performance of her latest single at the Grammys. The heartbreaking clip directed by the brilliant Sophie Muller has to be one of Rihanna’s most real to date…
My latest mashup mix comes in the form of a dubbed out version of Rihanna‘s ‘Diamonds’ mashed up with the Eric Prydz remix of M83‘s ‘Midnight City.’ This isn’t your straightforward masher and it’s definitely not for the faint of heart. I hope you love it as much as I do, so without further ado I present my latest mix - ‘Midnight Diamond.’
The mix made it’s way to the Hype Machine, so pretty please head over there and click the ♥ icon for me! Keep up with all things Belanger on Facebook, Soundcloud and Twitter. My debut mix tape is very close to dropping so you’ll definitely want to be the first to know about it when it does!
It is our pleasure to present you with Zowie‘s latest mix tape ‘Bad-Ass Bitch.’ On the delightful 30-minute mix she fuses together a range of female artists who delight us with their feisty attitudes and killer tracks.
She takes us back with some vintage TLC, adds fresh cuts from the likes of Rihanna and Azealia Banks, and drops in the divine The Slips remix of her own feisty single ‘Smash It.’ Get your Monday started off right and grab this fine salute to some of the most Bad-Ass Bitches in the game!
These female artists are all full of sass and intelligence and I admire each of them for different reasons. There is a dirty hip hop vibe to this mix tape which was inspired by releasing our free hip hop nasty track ‘You Did The NONO’ a couple of weeks ago and opening for Nicki Minaj on the same night! We wanted each track to flow in a way where it sounded like the song before was part of the next song rather than a stop start tape.
1. M.I.A – XR2
2. Kid Sister – Right Hand High
3. Rihanna – Cockiness
4. Azealia Banks – 212 (feat Lazt Jay)
5. Zowie – Smash It (The Slips Remix)
6. Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Gold Lion (Nick Zinner Remix)
7. Peaches – Billionaire
8. Rihanna – Fresh Off The Runway
9. TLC – Silly Ho
Make sure you keep up with Zowie on Twitter and Facebook, and check out the brilliant debut album ‘Love Demolition‘
RL Grime has given Rihanna‘s ’Pour It Up’, one of his favorites on ‘Unapologetic,’ a slick remix and shared it with the masses. It’s a dark atmospheric mix that adds a little more depth to the track.
Rihanna scores her first ever U.S. number one on the album charts this week. Congrats Rih!
Last week, I attended Rihanna‘s listening party for ‘Unapologetic’ and the last song I expected to like was ‘Nobody’s Business,’ her collaboration with Chris Brown, and it ended up being one of my favorites on the album. This track is channeling elements of Michael Jackson‘s ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ from the classic Bad album (and ‘Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin?’). The full track has just leaked, so now I want to hear your thoughts!

Moments ago, Rihanna‘s video for ‘Diamonds’ premiered on MTV. I love the scenes of her breaking though the darkness and destruction then finding her peace in the desert scenes with the horses. What do you think? Be sure to let us know in the comments!
‘Diamonds’ is the first cut from the new album ‘Unapologetic’ which is set for release on November 19th, are you ready for it?
