Just a few days after the official announcement that Mariah Carey will be joining American Idol as a judge in 2013 comes the premiere of her new single Triumphant (Get ‘Em) featuring Rick Ross and Meek Mill. It is the first single to be taken from her forthcoming 14th studio album details of which are to be revealed shortly.
Those of you hating the rappers on this will be excited to hear that there are plenty of re-sung dance remixes produced by some big name dance producers that are soon to be revealed..
“I’ve always had so much fun re-singing my songs for the club/dance mixes,” Mariah Carey said. “It gives me the freedom to sing as powerfully as I want and to rewrite the songs specifically for the genre”
Mariah recently tweeted this about the track…
“I wrote TRIUMPHANT when I was going through a difficult time & it helped me get through it. When u hear it, pay attention 2 the lyrics #WIN”
