Our pal Monsieur Adi has just revealed his official mix of Lana Del Rey‘s ‘Summertime Sadness,’ and its undoubtedly a winner! Adi never does things by halves, and this is no exception. It’s an energetic dance mix that also keeps some fabulous orchestral elements.
Our pal Monsieur Adi recently got his hands on Lana Del Rey‘s “Born to Die” and as you might expect the results are phenomenal. Adi delivers another sweeping orchestral delight with smooth electro beats. These two are simply a match made in heaven!

Monsieur Adi strikes again, this time with a stunning rework of Beyonce‘s End Of Time. He had a great time making the remix, weaving B’s diva vocals within his signature style…
It was really interesting working with a huge powerful voice like Beyoncé’s as I like to subdue things a lot. There were a lot of vocals to work with allowing me to cut things a lot and let her voice shine in the more melodic parts. I like the contrast between melody and noise. And I wanted to make something that would make you move. Beyoncé is really great ! Modern and fresh and an absolute beast.
This may just be my second favorite Adi remix, with his take on Madonna‘s Erotica coming in at #1. In other Adi news, the Fire Fire Fire EP is out now in honor of his late mother’s birthday. Requiem was written in her honor.

We loved Monsieur Adi‘s Madonna remixes last year (check them out with some of his original work here) and he continues to delight us with mixes of our other favorite artists. Back in 2009, at Marina & The Diamonds‘ request he gave Obsessions quite the rework!
It’s a very eclectic mix in which Adi expertly blends orchestral and electro elements taking us through a varied soundscape leaving us never quite sure where he’s going next!
The original Obsessions is taken from The Family Jewels album and we are still eagerly awaiting Marina‘s follow up which is due this spring!
