Exclusive: Zowie ‘Bad-Ass Bitch’ Mixtape

It is our pleasure to present you with Zowie‘s latest mix tape ‘Bad-Ass Bitch.’ On the delightful 30-minute mix she fuses together a range of female artists who delight us with their feisty attitudes and killer tracks.

She takes us back with some vintage TLC, adds fresh cuts from the likes of Rihanna and Azealia Banks, and drops in the divine The Slips remix of her own feisty single ‘Smash It.’ Get your Monday started off right and grab this fine salute to some of the most Bad-Ass Bitches in the game!

These female artists are all full of sass and intelligence and I admire each of them for different reasons. There is a dirty hip hop vibe to this mix tape which was inspired by releasing our free hip hop nasty track ‘You Did The NONO’ a couple of weeks ago and opening for Nicki Minaj on the same night! We wanted each track to flow in a way where it sounded like the song before was part of the next song rather than a stop start tape.

We still haven’t tired of MIA‘s Bad Girls, and with remixes as good as this one still emerging, we’ll be enjoying for quite some time yet to come. The Surkin remix is a simple but brilliant take on the Danja produced track.

We’re still awaiting word on exactly when M.I.A’s fourth album Matangi will be released, although we know it is supposed to drop this summer.

M.I.A’s Madonna Demo ‘Baby’ Produced By William Orbit Surfaces

We’ve heard a lot about the songs that didn’t make the cut for Madonna‘s MDNA album over the last few weeks, and today Baby, an unfinished demo produced by William Orbit and written by M.I.A has surfaced. After getting wind of the leak M.I.A tweeted…

who ever LEAKED THAT BABY song should know that ive never heard this version B4 it sounds crazy different 2 wht i worte for madonna.

Then it was William Orbit‘s time to add his two cents on Facebook…

thanks for the link, er, but we hadn’t even finished the song yet. Madonna and MIA were going to add some more bits I think. Not sure. I’d put it on hold. All I’m doing at the moment is filming (taking a break from musicians and their crazy world!)

I’m really enjoying this demo and I’m frankly disappointed that they didn’t go further with this one it sounds like it could have been interested and I would have loved to heard what Madonna would bring to it. I love Birthday Song but I’ve gotta say this sounds less throwaway than that one does.

The video for Madonna‘s Give Me All Your Luvin’ featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A has just premiered in full. It is quite simply one of the best in years!

It’s packed with classic moments, like the strut down the street which only Madonna would work quite as wells as she does, and those intense stares at the camera!

She looks absolutely amazing in every shot, in the solo parts she works it in hot pants and a leopard skin bra channeling her Gambler Virgin Tour look, and after she climbs the heap of football players her inner Marilyn Monroe comes out in her!
