After great success over the last year in Europe, Ellie Goulding is preparing to conquer the U.S! Hot on the heels of some successful tour dates here late last year, comes the repackaged Lights album set for a U.S. release on March 8th via Cherrytree/Interscope.
The just premiered video for Lights, one of my favorite songs from the album, sees Ellie shaking her stuff (and a rather nice tambourine) in the spotlight. Simple but effective. Love it! – Camille

Russ Chimes remains one of the best remixers in the game, having brought us many great mixes for acts like Cassette Kids, Ellie Goulding and Kelis. Not content with just stellar remixes under his belt, a few months ago Russ came out with his first original release, the insanely good Midnight Club EP. To promote the release, a series of videos were released that when combined create the trilogy’s narrative (watch below)
This week w got word that the Midnight Club EP has just been released on limited run vinyl. To celebrate, we’ve secured two copies signed by Russ, to giveaway here on Hard Candy!

If you’ve been following Hard Candy for some time, you will have seen our posts about one of our favorite Brits, the lovely Ellie Goulding! She had us hooked from the very first time we heard her debut single Under The Sheets, and we devoured the debut album Lights upon its release overseas. The Ellie team have decided that now it is time that American audiences got more familiar with the songstress, and they have just released the An Introduction To Ellie Goulding EP here in the U.S. Next up for us will be an expanded deluxe edition of Lights, coming in early 2011. To celebrate the EP release we have been given three signed copies to giveaway!
