Azari & III deliver ‘Indigo’ remix EP

Azari & III’s stunning self-titled debut release has been out for what seems like a lifetime. Originally dropping in August of 2011, it was re-released in this U.S. in October.

Can we talk about how fantastic the album is? Totally up my alley, a strong influence of Chicago house, deep disco and electronic music. Star tracks include ‘Into The Night’ and my personal favorite ‘Reckless (With Your Love)’.

Dim Mak is releasing a new EP featuring previously heard jam ‘Indigo’ packed with remixes via Serge Santiago and Konrad Black. Most importantly, they’ve included the acapella and the burnin’ dub mix (hot!) which rarely happens these days even though it’s a must! Listen below.

Dinamo Azari, one half of dance duo Azari & III has release a party-startin’ hour and a half mixtape Equinox. He’s chosen to keep the track listing secret, but we’re pretty sure someone will figure it out soon. It’s a fantastic listen, click play and get it on!

The Canadian outfit just released their latest single Into The Night, which you can preview the remixes of here. Their debut album is a must listen for house/electronic music lovers, and includes two of my favorite tracks as of late – Reckless (With Your Love) and Manic.

CFCF remixes Azari & III ‘Into The Night’

Azari & III know how to infuse cutting edge electronica with a distinct 90′s house influence. The original version of Into The Night, a hypnotic affair is brought into a more toned-down funkier element via CFCF. Gone are the synths, bongo drums here to stay!

Into The Night is out July 16th, jam packed with remixes by Prince Language, CFCF, Nicolas Jaar, Renaissance Man and Seth Troxler, Masomenos & Jaw – Live In Paris. Listen to the original version of the track below, my second favorite off their self-titled debut - the first being the anthematic Reckless (With Your Love).

Sam Sparro: I Wish I Never Met You (Video Premiere)

Sam Sparro just released the video for I Wish I Never Met You, the second single off upcoming album Return To Paradise. The new material, which focuses on a search for happiness and joy invokes a Paradise Garage/NYC discotheque vibe, written with 70′s dance influences in mind. From what we’ve heard so far, including lead single Happiness, the album is going to be just as slick as (if not better than) his debut Sam Sparro.

You may not be able to view the video just yet, it’s blocked in certain countries.

“…that bitter moment when you’re so angry with them – you feel life would be better had you never even crossed paths” “That feeling doesn’t last forever but I’m sure everyone has felt that way at some point. Musically it‘s inspired by a more frosty European variety of disco but with a touch of ballad. It was co-written with Swedish singer Erik Hassle while he was visiting L.A.”

Toronto based duo Trust are set to release their debut album TRST on February 28th on Arts & Crafts, including this burning indie/electro number Sulk. Azari & III (pronounced Azari & Third) gave a stellar 2-hour long Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1 this month. I’ve played out the duo’s debut album which you can purchased as an import here, it’s an all killer no filler trip back to the 90′s house. dance floor! Their essential mix is a bit more techno/electronic heavy, wish there was a track listing on this one!

Canadian house mavens Azari & III have just premiered the video for their latest single Reckless (With Your Love) which is taken from their incredible self-titled album released this year, currently available as import only but dropping February 19th on Island Records.

The single is due for release on February 12th and will include remixes by Tiga and Riva Starr. I’m loving the banging Tiga one! Have a listen and let us know your thoughts!
