The lovely Adele is currently recovering from throat surgery and taking a break from touring. In her absence, we can enjoy the soon to be releasedAdele: Live at The Royal Albert Hallwhich comes out on November 29th.
This epic performance of Turning Tables taken from the DVD has just been shared with us, and it’s almost as spine tingling as seeing her in the flesh, which were fortunate enough to do with a small crowd at IHeartRadio earlier this year.
If you’ve never seen her live, make it your business to get to a show when she returns!
We’ve all been waiting for more Adele videos after the fabulous Rolling In The Deep, but she’s been busy touring all over the globe so it’s taken many months for her to shoot the follow-up.
I’m pleased to say that it was definitely worth the wait! The video for her breathtaking ballad Someone Like You, directed by Jake Nava (Kanye West, Britney Spears, Shakira) has just premiered. Filmed in the streets of Paris, a lonely Adele wanders alone with her thoughts of a lost love.
If you weren’t already moved to tears by the song alone, perhaps the video will get them flowing! A truly beautiful accompaniment to a masterpiece.
Every time I see Adele perform or listen to one of her albums I find myself getting shocked all over again by her talent. She just paid a visit to Jonathan Ross on Friday to perform a breathtaking rendition of Turning Tables from the impeccable 21.
While she was there she also sat down for a really interesting interview and she is as usual absolutely hilarious and I’ll never get enough of hearing her laugh!
When you see Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics tweet a seal of approval for a Sweet Dreams mix, you better believe you are in for a treat! I just love this Daft Beatles mashup of the ultimate synth track with Adele‘s Rolling in the Deep. It blends so perfectly! – Camille
p.s. I’m just dying over the artwork that Matt made for this. Adele even looks good with a beard haha!
We just received another remix of Adele‘s hit Rolling In The Deep in our inbox this morning, and it’s 80′s synth heaven!
London based electronic outfit Luxar have rolled in their take on the chart-topper and we’re absolutely in love with the result! Their debut Arrival EP is available for free download here. If you love airy synths and dance-able bass lines in your music these guys will be right up your alley.
My favorite mix of this track so far is still the Avicii take, but this one is a surefire runner up to being the best! - Matt
