Remember Kish Mauve? The U.K. based electro duo wrote 2 Hearts which was covered last year by Kylie Minogue.  The band is back with their debut single, Lose Control.  The remix package is great, including an amazing mix from Fred Falke which has circulated the blogs for the past month or so.
I really enjoy this particular remix off the maxi, so enjoy it and let me know what you think!

The Metropolis-born Janelle Monae has just premiered the video for her first single, Many Moons.  I’m a big fan of these ‘short-film’ music videos, where there is an actual storyline and not just a bunch of flashy shots of body parts for 3minutes. You know what I mean?  This video takes it back to the Michael Jackson days.  Remember when he used to premiere a video?

I’m excited to share this remix of Dragonette‘s hot track, Competition.  It’s done by The Whip, one of my favorite bands since hearing their debut single Trash.  It’s very choppy and slicey , which is hot when blasting in a huge room full of sweaty people! Check it out, I think The Whip do Dragonette justice…what do you think?  Personally I would have liked to hear a lot more of the song/lyrics and not just a few vocal snippets, the track is hot however!
