Two days ago we saw the preview, now the full length clip for Grimes‘ Genesis has premiered and it’s an absolute delight! In the self-directed clip we see Grimes and her pals take a trip through the desert and partake in all sorts of craziness. There’s no real storyline, it’s all just fantastically weird!
This morning we have Afraid and Playing Dangerously to add to the ever mounting pile of Lana Del Rey demos that have leaked in recent weeks. It was just a few days ago that we brought you a bumper post with five of them including the latest one, Big Bad Wolf.

Over the last few days, Dragonette have been hard at work filming the video for the electro jam Live In This City, and while we wait for the premiere we can enjoy the Heren Remix which was just released this week as a free download.
Van She‘s tropical anthem Jamaica is undoubetdly one of my jams of the summer. Unicorn Kid has just dropped his mix of the track, and while I much prefer the Plastic Plates one, this is also a decent addition to the set.
The Spice Girls reunited tonight for the Olympics closing ceremony in London and were undoubtedly the highlight of the evening! Pulling up to the stage in 5 London cabs, they leapt out all looking absolutely flawless and launched into a stellar performance of Wannabe, which featured a Dusbtep break (which surprisingly I didn’t hate), then lead into Spice Up You Life.
The highlight of the performance was them all riding around on the top of the colorful taxis, grinning from ear to ear and having the time of their lives shaking it to Spice Up Your Life. It was short but sweet and they totally stole the show, but honestly I think its ridiculous that Jessie J got about 5 songs and they got 2. With the amount of hits they have and the rarity of performances like this (they actually said it will be there last ever one) they should have had far more time! Nevertheless it was a blast!

A few weeks ago Ellie Goulding announced her forthcoming album Halcyon, now we get a first taste of the first single Anything Could Happen, due to premiere on radio today. It’s probably better to reserve judgement until hearing the full track but it must be said the production seems a little lacking.
