I would have to say that my all time highest Madonna moment was seeing her on Re-Invention Tour in Atlanta. I still can't believe it but I won pit tickets to the first night in the city. We road-tripped from Austin, Tx to see the show. After being walked down the entire floor to the stage, which felt like it took an hour, we entered the pit. The show started and I think everyone was in utter shock of how close she was. Just when I thought things couldn't get any more surreal, Don't Tell Me started. As seen in videos she did the line dance to each of the pits in every show. When she came over to us I was right in front of her, she pointed at me, winked, locked eyes and proceeded with the dance(the whole time the girl next to me screaming"OMG she is totally mindf*cking you right now!) After, she blew me a kiss tipped her hat and went back to centerstage. I'm pretty sure I was teary eyed by the end lol. It.Was.Amazing!

Blonde Ambition tour - 1990. I remember losing it when she did Vogue. We were at the Palace of Auburn Hills, I could not and would not stay in my seat. I had to dance so I was in he walk way, just doing my best white boy vogue. LOL. I had a great time, and it was the first of many concerts that I would see from her (Drowned World, Sticky and Sweet). Those of us from Bay City Michigan have to show our love!

My favorite Madonna performance was her surprise gig at ROXY in NYC on Valentine's Day in 1998. I got to see her from about 3 feet away singing (for the first time ever) Sky Fits Heaven, Shanti and the 11-minute full version of Ray of Light. The best part was when she leaned down and sang directly to me, I was staring in her crystal blue eyes and she took my hand. I touched the Queen! It was the most ecstatic Madonna performance I've ever had. Close second: Impressive Instant, Philadelphia, opening USA night of the Drowned World Tour.

Future Lovers/ I Feel Love, is the best tour opening EVER to happen to happen in a live music performance! The anticipation from hearing the thumping of the horses in the distance, the breath taking imagery that any Madonna concert has ever produced in the amazing backdrops, then it happens, the iconic face we all have come to adore, "I'm going to tell you..." Heart racing, pulse intensifying, the disco ball drops...you don't know where to look, to the right, to the left, then it happens. "Would you like to try?" The disco ball opens, and the most iconic, inspiring and legendary woman of our time comes out of a over the top, jaw dropping entrance. WE ALL LOSE IT. Though I was not there, I was a young 16 year old boy who barely came out of the closet to my friends and family. It being a very emotional time, I'll never forget the Thanksgiving break of 2006, as I saw the concert as a whole on NBC. I decided to watch it alone, but my mother joined me after all. After hearing the mash up of Future Lovers/ I Feel Love, my mother smiled with joy, being a disco child and her role model being Donna Summer. She smiled and said, "I think I like Madonna now." I think we can all agree that every performance that this woman has put on has been 100% raw, real, and utterly fabulous. She is the definition of an Icon. I remember seeing Madonna at Coachella right as Confessions on a Dance Floor came out. I waited all afternoon in the techno tent for a good spot and when she began it was instant ecstasy from beginning to end. It was a religious experience to see her do the remixed version of Let it Will Be. Her energy was powerful and incredibly raw. It was such a blur. That song had me feeling like I was on an electronic island floating above Coachella Valley!

standing on the floor for Confessions standing right behind Gloria Estefan and the lights go out. The crowd is going absolutely crazy and my partner is jumping up and down beside me. I knew nothing of the concert...only that I wanted to be surprised by all of it. The stampede of the horses across the arena and the visuals were so amazing that I literally could not move. Then I realized while I was watching all this that a huge disco ball was dropping out of the sky. Was she in it? Did she know we were yelling and wanting to see her? How would this happen? The ball dropped right at that moment in the song where the bass thumped so loud I thought we would fall over. Then she said "In the demonstration of this evidence, some have called it religion. This is not a coincidence. Would you like to try?" And the ball opened. And the light coming out of it was so brilliant. And Madonna stood there right in front of us and she looked amazing and strong and powerful and lit up. It was so moving. I cried. I don't know why I cried other than it was just such a bright, moving experience to see someone be so loved and prepared to deliver magic that night. And she did. I loved the entire show..but that opening number I never got over. It still moves me to this day and is one of the best times in my life. Thanks for letting me share this. Hi All..To recall MY most memorable Madonna Live moment is hard as every time I have had the pleasure of seeing her play live has been so amazing each time but I guess one concert stands out for me is the Confessions Tour...not realising that my seat(although we all stood up throughout lol) was exactly next to the small stage that came out into the auidence until the huge like Disco ball came down and Future lovers/I feel love played out...to be that close as almost being able to reach out to her and her dancers, to see her play live so up close was so unreal as I have only ever seen her up close on TV in videos etc. The feeling and surge of excitement within the crowd was just so great I really couldn't describe the rush of energy I was feeling, It was also hard work being so close as I had 2 cameras, a huge bag of merchandise lodged between my legs trying to dance and sing and take photos whilst being in total awe lol, I have an amazing close up shot of her bent over in her leotard over the huge ghetto blaster as she performed Hung Up. Another highlight of this concert was as the lights went down and "Have you confessed?" lit up the screen I was able to actually scramble over the barrier and actually got onto the stage itself where she had performed and get myself 2 of the special gold balloons that came down in the finale of the show to where she challenged the auidence to compete who could sing the loudest and best to "Time Goes by..so slowly" for me Time just stopped...Truly a great show that gave a great feeling..Thankyou x.

'WE can make a difference - with love'. Madonna's most recent speech in St Petersburg about the gay community is her greatest speech ever and her most relevant. Thank you Madonna for standing up against this nazism for people all over the world, as you have been doing for 30 years now.

While the Confessions Opeing and Lucky Star from the same are right up there, I'm going to have to back a bit, and say that Madonna's performance of Live to Tell and Oh Father from Blonde Amibition still blows me away. There is such a truth, an opening up, and brutal honsesty that comes through in her performance, and it speaks to me in a way that even, now holds true. My First ever concert at seeing her live was at Wembley and the Girlie Show, I was squashed and could hardly see brillantly so depended on the huge screens..but it didn't bother me at all as I was just so excited at being there along with everyone else enjoying such a great show. I made a promise to myself that if I did get to go and see Madonna live, I would throw my underpants with my name address and phone number written in them hoping they would get to reach Madonna on stage (well if its good enough for women to do it with Tom Jones why not us guys for Madonna! ) Only I had forgot to take a clean pair with me to do it as travelling down I was just bouncing off the walls, so at a service station stop I took off the ones I was wearing at the time (i know I know but hey I was ALOT younger then & got carried away with it all) and wrote my name address phone number etc in them and sure enough during the fabulous moment of the 70's themed Express Yourself as she came down sitting on the huge big disco ball I threw them, heaven only knows why as no way would they get to reach Madonna on stage from where I was, but it was just electric. Needless to say I never did get a phone call from Madonna but I did get a very odd phone call a couple of days after! I apologise to whoever got my underpants landing on their head that night (they were clean) and since then I have gone to a few more Madonna concerts and I have maintained to keep my underwear on my body lol... this is how going to a Madonna gets me ;0)x.
