Madonna soars up to the sky on Love Spent, the latest track from MDNA to ‘leak’ in 60 second clip form. Produced by Jean Baptiste and longtime collaborator William Orbit, this is the first track to get us genuinely excited, apart from the epic Act of Contrition intro to Girl Gone Wild.

True to Madonna/Orbit form, Love Spent includes blips and bleeps atop lush strings, introduced by a Wild Wild West style banjo. The track explodes into an infectious carried by tightly knit drums. Madonna laments on love, saying ‘I want you to hold me like you hold your money, hold on to me ’till there’s nothing left.’
