Preview Madonna’s ‘Falling Free’

Another day another snippet from Madonna‘s MDNA which is just 12 days away from release! Today a clip of the William Orbit produced Falling Free was released. The mid-tempo number has Orbit all over it, and was co-written with Madonna’s brother in law Joe Henry.

Hmm, I'm always pickier with ballads over dance tracks because I feel more time is or should be given into ballads. This does sound great and can definitely hear the "Ray of Light on steroids" they've mentioned- I just need to hear more and also hope this song subtly builds up too? It is 5 minutes long and sounds like a great album closer, a la Easy Ride, so I'm not worried :)

Joe has also helped out with Don't Tell Me and Jump and I LOVE those songs lyrically. This should be really good :)

MDNA is actually shaping up to be a great album. A compilation of all her latest albums both sonically and lyrically... I honestly can't wait to hear the whole thing.

This is my favorite album snippet so far. You can tell she's really singing from the heart and stretching her range (in a good way). Plus I love happy/sad love songs by her.

The only reason I'm going to buy this album is for the William Orbit songs. Falling Free reminds of Mer Girl from the Ray of Light era. Sounds amazing!
