As we mentioned a few weeks ago today saw the premiere of Get Some and Paris Blue two new Lykke Li songs. After what seems like an eternity, I’m so excited by the first tracks from Lykke’s still untitled forthcoming sophomore album (2011) Paris Blue is a delightfully melancholy number perfect for Fall (preferably walking the streets of Paris, but New York will do as a second best for me haha) Get Some is the exact opposite, a drum laden number on which the production is vaguely reminiscent of an Amy Winehouse track. Any song featuring the lyric ‘I’m your prostitute, you gon’ get some‘ has to be a winner right?
