I gotta admit that at first I really was not sure what all the fuss was about with Sky Ferreira, however her U.S. single Obsession, which is featured on the upcoming Vampire Diaries soundtrack, and more specifically the just released video has made me sit up and take notice.
Instead of going the traditional “pop girl fancies hot guy” route, Sky flipped the switch on us and instead the object of her affection is tough guy Michael Madsen (from Tarantino flicks like Reservoir Dogs). She finds a star map, tracks him down and dreams about the two of them taking revenge on one of her idiot friends. Great video!
